Vice President of Operations
Kelly’s passions include collaborating with people, leading projects, improving processes, and connecting the dots! She brings over 20 years of experience to FUEL in project and operations management, both in the corporate arena and higher education. Add that to her innate attention to detail, and you have a vice president of operations who will get the job done!
Kelly earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio. Along the way, she also earned her Six Sigma Black Belt certification! Before joining FUEL, as a senior project manager at The Ohio State University, Kelly managed student recruitment campaigns and enrollment initiatives for Marketing and Communications in the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences. During her career, she has managed the design and implementation of an e-Commerce website, the redesign and reorganization of over 300 websites, and the functional implementation of an enterprise-wide HR/Payroll system.
Kelly resides in Wilmington, North Carolina, with her mom and cat, Sam. When she is not organizing something, Kelly is hanging out with her family or volunteering at Honor Flight of the Cape Fear Area, a non-profit organization that honors WWII, Korean War, and Vietnam War-era Veterans by taking them to Washington, D.C., for a day of remembrance as they visit the memorials and monuments built in their honor. Kelly also enjoys collecting pig stuff. Why pigs? Because pigs are awesome!
