Susanna believes that every challenge is an opportunity – to reboot, reimagine, and find a better way. She loves guiding people through their challenges to help them find their best path.

Susanna has spent the past 16 years of her career dabbling in almost every aspect of admission at Capital University. She found her passion for Slate when she served in her previous role as Assistant Vice President of Enrollment Services. She will tell you that Slate has taken over her life (in a good way). She spearheaded the implementation of Slate at Capital, which shares an instance between undergraduate and graduate programs. She worked with individuals from her home state to start the Ohio Slate User Group, which held its first event in May 2019. Susanna presented on Workflows at the annual Slate Summit in 2019. She even put together a 14-week training course to teach her staff about the ins and outs of Slate, guiding each staff member through a project that they’ll present at the end of the course.

A native northwest Ohioan, Susanna now lives in Columbus, Ohio. She loves spending time with her cocker spaniel. She enjoys playing trivia, reading, and experiencing the best Columbus has to offer.
