Sarah Pierick started her higher education career as an admission counselor for her alma mater, the University of Dallas, and quickly moved into the world of data, communications, and enrollment strategy. While there, she received her Master of Leadership and completed her capstone project on the connections between female military experience and leadership in the civilian world. Working for four years within five different instances of Slate (by Technolutions), Sarah continuously strives to grow institutions’ strategies for enrollment efficiently and effectively by using creativity while still adhering to best practices.
Sarah is scheduled to present at the 2021 Slate Summit (postponed from Summer 2020) on increasing yield by streamlining processes specifically through the use of portals and custom forms to seamlessly communicate across campus throughout the final enrollment processes of an institution. Throughout her career, Sarah has applied her knowledge of customer service concepts to her expertise in data to improve the user experiences of clients, employees, and administration.
Sarah spends her spare time fueling her creative side with many projects, including painting, cross-stitching, and hand-lettering. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends, trying out new coffee shops, and traveling with her husband. So far, she has visited 15 countries and 36 of the 50 states of America.
