Adam is a lifelong learner of higher education innovation. He currently serves as Vice President of Enrollment at Coker College, located in Hartsville, South Carolina. He oversees all the admissions, financial aid, and student accounts operations at Coker, which has seen an upward tick of over 30% growth in undergraduate enrollment over the past six years. He has spent most of his career bridging the gap between admissions and financial aid practices to form an enrollment management model that works seamlessly to recruit and enroll students.
Adam was born and raised in New Jersey and received his undergraduate degree from The College of Mount Saint Vincent located in Riverdale, New York. He is a proud “New York” fan and boasts about his NY Giants and Yankees! He ended up working for his alma mater as an admission counselor for several years before taking a job as Associate Director of Admissions at Florida Southern College located in Lakeland, Florida. In 2011 he was named Director of Admissions at Coker College and lead the team that expanded campus through enrollment and retention growth. In 2015 he was appointed to Vice President of Enrollment Management.
Some of the areas of interest to Adam, in which he has studied extensively and have presented at conferences on include; financial aid leveraging, staff development, dynamic recruitment strategies, and the rise of the “homelander” generation.
